Hopefully we can answer all your questions about our big day...
What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal. Think suit and tie, knee to full length dress or jumpsuit.
Where are the reception and ceremony taking place?
The Ceremony will be taking place at Holy Trinity Church, Balsham, CB21 4DS.
The Reception will follow at 86 High Street, Balsham, CB21 4EP. This will be held in an outdoor garden so please wear suitable footwear.
How do I get to the venue?
Hopefully the map above helps, but the church is clearly signposted in the village. There is ample parking near the church if required. We recommend that anyone planning to take a taxi home from the reception considers also taking a taxi to the ceremony.
The reception is a short walk (~5mins) down the road from the church.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will start at 2pm. The church will be open whenever you arrive, but we recommend being seated in the church by 1:45.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by 1st June.
Can I bring a plus one?
We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with our closest friends and family. As we want to keep the wedding as intimate as possible, we are unable to accommodate additional guests except those named on your invitation. Feel free to get in touch if you need to discuss this further with us.
What if I have a dietary requirement?
Please make sure any dietary requirements are included on the RSVP form - if we aren't informed, we won't necessarily cater for it! If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch as soon as possible!
Can I take photographs during the ceremony?
We are happy for you to take photos before and after the ceremony, but we would prefer to keep the ceremony itself free of mobile phones, and keep things in the capable hands of our photographer, so hopefully everyone can enjoy the moment!
What is the timeline for the day?
A rough timeline for the day is:
- Ceremony 2pm (please be seated by 1:45pm)
- Cocktail hour about 3:30pm
- Dinner 5pm
- Dancing 8pm
- Bride and Groom depart 11:30pm
- Carriages midnight
Do you have a gift registry?
We're looking forward to celebrating our wedding with everyone, and we don't expect anyone to bring a gift, but for those who want to, we've put together a registry and a John Lewis wish list of items we'd love for our home (both linked below). The two lists is a product of our indecision, a trait I'm sure you've all come to know and love!
